How to Get from Split to Hvar

The most convenient way to get to Hvar Island from Split, Croatia is by ferry or catamaran. There are several ferry companies that operate regular services from Split to Hvar, with journey times ranging from 1 to 2 hours. You can purchase tickets in advance or at the ferry terminal on the day of travel. If you’re in a hurry, you can also take a catamaran, which is a faster and more expensive option. The catamaran journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Both ferry and catamaran services depart from the Split ferry terminal, which is located a short walk from the city center.
