Townhopping Project 2014 | Revisiting Places

Here are some southern Cebu photos:

Feverish. A rather painful lower back. That’s me today. But yesterday. Yesterday was awesome. Perhaps it was insanity for me to cure insomnia with a bus ride.

At two, I fed my litter, left my small place, bought sikwate and puto from Nanay, dropped by at work, startled a girl who was working at an ungodly hour, picked up my camera, borrowed money from my piggy bank, and headed to South Bus Terminal. At three in the morning.

I revisited the places during our early townhopping adventures. Tingko, Alcoy. Poblacion Boljoon. Liloan, Santander.

Surprisingly, I hadn’t townhopped alone. I was always with someone. Tagging someone with me was tempting. But yesterday, I needed space as wide as southern Cebu. I needed space as evolving as the scenes from the bus window.

Sick,

Jona

  1. The photos look awesome (the beaches in particular). I would have never thought about it, but Southern Cebu IS a great place to “get lost in”.
