Mt. Mauyog: The Less-Trodden

Mountains remind one of humans. Some mountains enjoy the spotlight, just like humans do, and consequently suffer from it. Lumped refuse in campsites and widening trails are two of these side effects. Unknown to most, just an hour walk from and northeast of historical Mt. Manunggal is the more challenging Mt. Mauyog. From the mountain foot, the peak looks like a gigantic coral—misplaced, lost. Most mountains have grassy peaks, yet this mountain has lumping rocks.
