Before visiting Singapore, twice in fact, there is always that rumor that it is an expensive country to travel. It is not actually true. Singapore can grow on you. Acclaimed for its elegant architecture, manicured urban landscapes, and sumptuous dishes, Singapore attracts both Asian and western travelers. But some hesitate to venturing here; rumors have it that Singapore is only meant for posh travelers and can leave a big hole in your pocket. Such is a myth. To prove, here are some budget hotels in Singapore to choose from that are between $70-$120 a night.

For such an affordable price point, this is quite unexpected. Although the room may be small, it is definitely cozy and clean. The decorations are pretty and there are several Instagram-worthy spots throughout the hotel. Another popular restaurant, Ginett, is located downstairs.

The “hotel” is just across the road at the traffic light.

Amenities are provided at this establishment, including towels, bedroom slippers, toothbrushes, and shampoo/shower gel in the toilet. Hairdryers are also available, and there is a steam iron and ironing board for common use. The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave oven and well-stocked cutlery, pots, pans, and mugs, as well as a coffee machine and water dispenser.

For the price, you will have your own private space and bed, but the toilets are shared. While towels are not changed daily, this is not an issue for many guests.

The location of the hotel is amazing, only a 5-minute walk away from Lavender MRT station. Free parking is available on a first come, first served basis because there are only 3 parking lots.

The area around the hotel is surrounded by hawker centers, Fair Price grocery store, 7-11, and fast food restaurants nearby as well. You can easily get hot or cold water from the water dispenser at the end of the hallway. Although the room size is small, it is enough for couples who are traveling.

The room is equipped with a fridge and a safe. Since the new hotel is fairly new, there is no issue with cleanliness. It is not bad and highly recommended for you!
