GADGET REVIEW: Star Mobile Diamond V7

January, despite its awesomeness, was kinda pain in the ass, gear-wise. Now, my year-old netbook would not function unless plugged, my two-year-old Android phone, Cherry Mobile Omega HD’s screen froze. Well, I dropped it at least ten times in December alone. I used it as a hotspot and placed it by the kitchen hanging cabinet.

Now, I am not really techie. I just need a phone that is receptive to Internet and has a good camera.

After two days of visiting a phone shop, I decided to get another locally made smart phone: Star Mobile Diamond V7. Its mobile Internet data sucks. I cannot use the phone as a hotspot. (Update: it is fixed, and now functioning well) I did not encounter such problem with my Cherry Mobile Omega HD. I must have it checked. Perhaps it is repairable.

But I love the quality of the photos! Its rear camera is 18 megapixel and the front is 8MP with autofocus and flash function. I was like, I can use these photos for work! 😀

Here are some. With a little Picasa touch.

Most photos are from the recent trip to Lake Sebu, South Cotabato.

GADGET REVIEW: Star Mobile Diamond V7: Photos are good, but its internal memory sucks.

    My favorite is Picture #4.

You have the eye of a photographer..(Not that I’m competent to judge.)

It’s funny… I left my old home in Canada and came to live in this beautiful land known as the Philippines last November… And I still occasionally have problems slowing myself to the point where I can relax and “smell the roses”… But I come to BWAB and absorb the scenes created by your words… I feel myself drawn into the worlds belonging to your amazing photographs… I finally found the peace I sought for so long… Thank you! Your art is amazing!
