Photo Essay: Baclaran Church

Baclaran Silhouettes at 5:30 in the morning

The yellow building across the church, its color intensifies with the early-morning sun

Another perpendicular angle.

Parallel to the sky

The buildings across the church.

A hundred peso a pair! The night market in Baclaran is a delight for a haggler like me.

The blouses cost a lot cheaper at night. I bought five tank tops for P50 a piece.

The interior of Baclaran Church. Churchgoers are waiting for the mass to start.

With the market hubbub on the street in front of the church, the interior offers silence.

With the sun slowly claiming the sky, the vendors gradually disappear.

The last of the night vendors

Love and laugh,

I haven’t been to this church for so many years now. Your post made me miss my visits here. I’ll probably plan hearing a mass here on my next vacation 🙂

Good photo essay. This is my first time learning about this church. I just went to the Facebook page to learn a little more ( http://www.facebook.com/baclaranredemptoristchurch#!/baclaranredemptoristchurch?sk=info ). I’ll have to do more reading about this church.
