what to do in Paris in December

I moved to Munich, Germany in November 2021. Despite being three hours by train away, Paris never appealed to me and only traveled there in December 2022 to meet some dearly missed friends. Traveling to Paris in December has its own charms and pitfalls. I would love to visit the city of light (and endless uncollected trash and smelly subways) solo in every sense of the word. No rushed itinerary with friends. Just me and Paris. One day at a time. And to prepare for that trip, I curated some of the best places to stay in Paris for solo travelers.
